Regardless of who you believe, the New York Times' follow up to this reveals their consistent undisclosed bias.
Rather than acknowledging that their sources might be wrong, they positioned the meeting's purpose as having been changed due to their reporting.
They've been on a campaign against Trump for years.
It's ok for a publication to have a point of view they assert.
It's not OK for them to assert it and call themselves an independent news source.
