I'm happy for you that you've gotten Clarity on your next steps. I've been a paying member since soon after I found you last year, and it just renewed for another year.

I joined primarily to support you, because what you are doing is SO IMPORTANT, and sadly rare at this time. I am thrilled to see you are creating being FULLY financially supported to do what you are gifted to do! 🙏🏼

A happy subscriber. How do I join the 30% club?

A question: A member of my church wants to donate a flagpole and American Flag to be installed at our cemetery / graveyard. Objections have been violates Church and State or we should only praise God. Would love to hear your opinion.

Congratulations! I absolutely love what you are doing and so I’m curious as to what does this mean if I’m already a paid subscriber? Thanks! 🙏

Since you have chosen to open the Pandora’s box of politics, you must inevitably follow Ariadne's thread  and deal with the Minotaur waiting at the heart of the political labyrinth: the battle between the sexes.

On the left we have the divine feminine with her compassion, desire to protect the weak, to nurture and nourish, who promotes fairness, who overestimate risks, cultivates communal sharing, and who places beauty over pragmatism.

On the right we have the divine masculine with his desire to build, to overcome obstacles, to elevate the strong and sideline the weak, who underestimate risks, who promotes individual conquest, who recognizes that life is not fair, and who elevates pragmatism over beauty.

Note I say both are divine, as both are needed in a sacred balance.

To illuminate my point further, I recommend reading M. Scott Peck’s analogy of a mountain climbing team. You’ll find it in his book “The Road Less Travelled.”

Peace to you.

That is a great read.

Instead of saying your subject matter is politics, you could say public policy.

Right now I’m honeymooning in Florence with my wife. I spent some time at a monastery that got converted into a library, and it’s amazing to see these old beautiful buildings and think about the purpose they were built for, which ultimately laid the foundation of modern society.

Monasteries are very big and difficult to make as beautiful as they are. Same as churches and basilicas and such. So I thought about why people put in so much care and effort into creating this place that didn’t make a profit. And I thought about why anyone would choose to become a monk in the first place. I realized that it’s all people who have chosen to devote their entire life to serving God.

So then I thought about what I would do. If I made that choice, if I became a monk and devoted my entire life to God, what would I do with my time? Would I brew beer, illuminate manuscripts, meditate, study horticulture? Ultimately I decided that I would do exactly what I’m doing now - I would study psychology and philosophy, and I would devote myself to increasing human knowledge in those areas. And I believe this is how the modern university was born, through this spirit of devotion to the highest good, and a social system and physical architecture built around this premise. And they still survive today in Europe, albeit in different forms.

The reason I’m telling you all this is that I feel now this is an important question everyone should ask themselves - if you were to really devote your life to God, whatever that means to you, what would you do with your time and energy? And I believe you, Kaizen, ask yourself that question, and I think you are doing that thing right now. So that’s why I agree you should keep doing what you’re doing. Keep staying devoted to the highest good.

If you're a paid subscriber, are you a member? (I know - silly question - I'll delete this later.)

Please clarify if existing annual subscriptions will be honored or if a new subscription is needed. Thanks

Like others, want to support you in your mission and need some clear thinking (😊) on how this impacts my previous monthly subscription. I’m sure you’ll address this!

I am already a Clear Thinker subscriber, is this substack included in that? So I wouldn’t have to join again?

I paid $100 a little over 1 month ago and the App shows me as a paid subscriber for 11 more months. But the way I'm reading this now, it appears I am being ASKED TO SUBSCRIBE AGAIN?!! Something's gotta be wrong with that!! Much as i like Kaizen, and his thinking and writting, I'm not up for $200/yr on my budget!! I hope we're not going to get cut off with our existing subscriptions cancelled just because the have "the opportunity to take advantage of this new offer" as previous paid subscribers!!
