1. $1000 is more than they earned in their country in a few months. That’s plenty.
2. The US is terribly in debt. Pay it down, don’t keep spending. That’s part of the overall plan aside from safety and security.
3. Increasing the amount feels like a Biden move by upping the ante/increasing the size of the carrot. The government spent a lot of money to pay people to promote and get Covid jabs.
There needs to be a window of opportunity and when the date passes, illegals go on the deport-on-sight list.
They have a golden opportunity to leave on their terms, plus money to rehome, plus be able to apply to come back LEGALLY.
